Egg & Coke
Egg & Coke Experiment
Would you ever drink fizzy if you knew it made your teeth rotten?
In conclusion now you will know what happen when you leave an egg in a cup of coke.?
Ruma 4 did an experiment on egg & coke to see if it caused an effect on our teeth. A shell is called Enamel (Enamel is a thinnest layer of our teeth),it’s one of the strongest bone that you have .In my group was Manaiah,Billie,Lucy-Anne,Jahnera and Bubba. You will need Egg,Coke,Beaker,Toothbrush and Toothpaste.
How did we do it
First we put the egg into the beaker and then we poured the coke into the beaker. Now we are leaving it for 24 hours. Then in the morning we are going to see what happen to the egg. If it damage the egg the egg shell will come off.The effects of coke on enamel, because we are learning about healthy eating
What happen
When we left the egg to sit then we put the egg onto the plate, the coke made it darker and we brushed the egg with toothpaste to see what will happen to the egg when it was brushed.Once we brushed it we were taking some note and we were taking turns to brush the toothpaste onto the egg.
Drawing and conclusion
The egg became normal when you brush your egg and it was an normal egg like it was before. Coke erodes your teeth because of the acid phosphoric in the coke .If you drink fizzy the fizzy will stay on your teeth so brush your teeth after you drink fizzy.

Should we move to Mars
I believe that we should go to mars because so when people go to mars they will go will be alive . When a media hits earth people on mars will be still alive and some people at earth will be died.
Secondly it is true that the word is covered with 7.6 billion people. There is too many people on earth people go to mars because there is 7.6 billion on earth go to mars people.
I strongly believe that global warming is dangerous because it can kill people and it can make the water rise up that is dangerous to people. It makes people die because the weather is changing the weather was good now it is dry this is a picture of the weather good to bad.

Squid Dissection
Equipments
For this experiment you will need some nice clean sharp scissors. You will need some scientific tongs so you can pick up the squid with it. Then will need safety goggles unsure ink might go in your eyes.Next grab a tray to put the squid in so you don’t mess up your table. You need paper just because your table might get messy and you need squid for the experiment.
Steps
So first you are going to put the squid into the tray . Take your hands so you can get the beak out of the squid gently. You have to cut the squid to get the beak out. Next you have to squeeze the brain out neatly. Then cut open the squid from the fines to get the pen out make sure you are gentle with it.
Pen removal
So first for the pen removal you are going to flip the squid to the black side so you can cut the water jet’s all the way down to the fines. Cut open the squid by the fines then take the pen out put it in the ink sack to get ink and then write will it so you know if it works.
Saw
First I saw the tentacles, arms. Then flip the tentacles, arm to get to the beak and take it out. Ice Ice Baby
Ice Ice Baby
Experiment
On friday morning we did a ice experiment,we got in groups, my group was immersed in water. We did our experiment at P.E.S in Ruma 4.We felt excited to do the experiment but people who did hold & pass their hands were cold because miss sipes got it out of the freezer.
I noticed.
I noticed that the ice was really cold when we did immersed in water it didn’t work so we got more water from the art room” then we won because we got more water and immersed in water was 2 minutes and 39 seconds and the one that lost was leave alone because it took 22 minutes.44.seconds to completely melt
Test/Results
After we made our hypothesis which task melted the ice the fastest, we tested them. We got into groups and timed how long it took for the ice to melt. The year 6 group was disqualified as they started to blow, on the ice and move it around in the water. There task was only to immerse the ice in water. We talked about that not being a fair test and would make the results inaccurate. The most effective task was immersed in water it took 2 minutes and 38 seconds to melt the ice. The task that was the least effective was the leave it alone. It took 22 minutes 44 seconds to completely melt the ice.
Why/Research
In the experiment i learned that everything is made from matter. The three different states of matter are solids, liquids, gas. The atoms for solids are really close together ,liquid is close together but not that close and the atoms that make gas are spread out everywhere.
